One-handed profile anchoring on internal corners
The internal mortar spike is a bricklayer’s time-saver — designed for the moment you need the profile held steady on an internal corner but don’t want to unpack a full clamp setup. Drive the narrow spike into the perp joint, tighten the screw onto the profile, and it’s locked in place.
When to reach for a mortar spike
- Quick anchoring for short runs where a full clamp is overkill
- Secondary hold mid-wall to stop a long profile flexing
- Fast retrofit and repair work with minimal setup
- Situations where a nail-on clamp won’t seat cleanly
Specifications
- Fits 40mm, 50mm and 2″ box section bricklaying profiles
- Screw tightens directly onto the profile for positive lock
- Zinc-plated for corrosion resistance on damp sites
- 12-month warranty
Proudly Australian-made and owned. Part of BT Engineering’s complete bricklaying profile system.
